Ingredients
for 2-3 portions
- 250 g durum wheat semolina (not too fine, Type W480)
- 500 ml milk
- A pinch of salt
- 50 g butter
- 30 g sugar (fine crystal)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- powedered sugar (optional)
- Raisins to taste
Preparation
- Lightly salt the milk and bring to the boil in a saucepan.
- Stir in the wheat semolina and allow to cool.
- Heat the butter in the pan, add the cooled semolina mixture and roast. Divide into pieces with a fork and turn several times.
- Mix in the sugar, vanilla sugar and raisins.
- Continue roasting the Schmarrn until it is brown and crispy. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
